Welcome to the Women's Resource Center

Our goal is to facilitate access to resources, mentoring, and scholarships available to women across the disciplines. We organize campus events with professional resource speakers and work with community partners to offer additional support. Our overall mission is to help women achieve their academic and professional goals.

Upcoming Projects


April 1-19, 2019: “What Were You Wearing?”: A Sexual Assault Awareness Exhibit at DSU in collaboration with DOVE Center in two campus locations — Holland Centennial Commons Main Lobby 2/F (April 1- 14) and Eccles Fine Arts Center Lobby (April 15-19) — with an Opening Reception/Program on April 1st Monday, Outdoor Holland Plaza, 3 p.m.


January 29 until supplies last: Free safety whistles to students/faculty/staff in Holland 489 during WRC office hours only.

January 22 until supplies last: WRC offers free hygiene products to students/faculty/staff in need in Holland Centennial Commons 489 during WRC office hours only.

January 22 until supplies last: GladRags, an eco-friendly company, is offering a one-time free cloth pantyliner to DSU students. This offer is also supported by DSU Sustainability and the Women’s Resource Center. For more information, please click on this link.


January 22 – April 24, 2019:  Support the Girls So. Utah Service offers free bras and menstrual hygiene products to students/faculty/staff in need in Holland Centennial Commons 489 during WRC office hours only.


January 22 – April 24, 2019:  WRC Laptop Support Rental Project for female students on a first come, first served basis (Holland Centennial Commons 489).  Note: Send a one-paragraph need statement and schedule laptop pick-up and drop-off More information.


January 23 – April 24, 2019: DOVE Advocacy Service through WRC in which the DOVE Center provides advocacy for survivors of sexual assault through the DSU Women’s Resource Center every Wednesdays from 3-5 p.m. in Holland Centennial Commons 489.


Mother’s Rooms


Please note that Mother’s Rooms are available for our student moms in Taylor Health Sciences and Holland Centennial Commons 409. DSU Scholarship Associates

DSU Scholarship Associates awards 10 to 12 scholarships to qualified applicants. All applicants must be full-time students working toward a Bachelors’ Degree at DSU.

DSU High Impact Student Scholarship

This scholarship is designed to improve student success by providing financial assistance to DSU students participating in high impact practices.  These high impact practices could entail the following: study abroad, career tours, undergraduate research, internships, experiential learning, alternative fall and spring breaks, presenting at conferences, etc.  Students who participate in these types of activities can apply for a scholarship that will cover no more than 50% of the total cost with a maximum amount of $500.  The deadlines for scholarship applications are:  October 15th, November 15th, February 15th and April 15th.


  • Students must be enrolled in at least 12 credits
  • Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA

To apply, students need to fill out the DSU High Impact Student Scholarship Application.

Body Image Literacy Project

DSU Women’s Resource Center received a grant award from the Utah Women’s Giving Circle on Body Image Literacy Project last January 2016 in SLC.

DSU AAUW Scholarship Winners

Congratulations to our DSU students who received scholarship awards from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) on May 4th 2015 at Marriot Courtyard, St. George.

WRC Laptop Support Awardees
